Getting to Tamagotchi Town is easy! Go to www.tamagotchieurope.com. Select which version of Tamagotchi Connexion you are playing with Version 3 or Jinsei. A new window pops up and prompts you to "Enter Tamagotchi Town to play with your Tamagotchi Connexion Version 3 or Tamagotchi JinSei". A new window will pop-up that will allow you to travel to Tamagotchi Town. You will then be prompted to enter your Tamagotchi USER NAME. Please make sure to enter your USER NAME exactly as it appears in your Tamagotchi
No you can not play with Tamagotchi Connexion Version 3 with the Tamagotchi JinSei website because of the new password system. Likewise you can not play with the Tamagotchi JinSei in the Version 3 website. If you have a Version 3 Tamagotchi, select “Version 3” on main webpage to access the Version 3 website.
This web site can only be accessed if you are using a broadband internet connection (not dial up modem).
Yes, www.tamagotchieurope.com does use "cookies" but only when you vote for your favourite Tamagotchi in Tama Island. This cookie lasts 24h and only saves your details if you already voted for the day. Bandai, the maker of Tamagotchi Connexion, does not collect any information from your personal computer whilst you are visiting the www.tamagotchieurope.com website.
Tamagotchi Town is filled with passwords. These passwords allow you to obtain and store Gotchi-prizes in your Tamagotchi JinSei toy. However, passwords are unique to each Tamagotchi character and cannot be shared among virtual pet owners. To make sure you always obtain a working password, enter exactly the same USER NAME at www.tamagotchieurope.com that you created in your Tamagotchi Connexion toy when you first hatched it.
You can view your Tamagotchi USER NAME in the "Health Meter" menu along with all the other virtual pet stats. Press button (A) to select the "Health Meter" and press button (B) six times to locate the USER NAME.
You can not play with the Tamagotchi JinSei website if you do not have a Tamagotchi JinSei. You can use some of the functions of the Version 3 website, select “Version 3” on main webpage to access the Version 3 website.
Travel tickets are randomly sold by the Shopkeeper in your Tamagotchi JinSei. Check back often to view the items he has available for sale. Once you've purchased a travel ticket, take your password online at www.tamagotchieurope.com to the Travel Agency to redeem your souvenir!
Just as in previous Versions of Tamagotchi Connexion, some Tamagotchi characters must be fully grown to enjoy all the items available for sale by the Shopkeeper, including travel.
You can collect "Gotchi" points by playing games on your Tamagotchi JinSei. Play more games to earn more points. Then, use your "Gotchi" points to buy items online in the Shopping Centre or from the Shopkeeper in your Tamagotchi JinSei. You can also collect “Gotchi” points by playing games on the Tamagotchi JinSei website.
In Tamagotchi Town, you can purchase items for sale in the Shopping Centre. Move over an item to see how many "Gotchi" points an item requires. Then, click on the logout button. You will get a logout screen and Password list. Take the password back to your Tamagotchi JinSei and the "Gotchi" points will be automatically deducted from your personal bank.
Yes, you can still connect to other Tamagotchi Connexion users! If you are connecting to an owner of a Version 1, Version 2 or Version 3 Tamagotchi Connexion, make sure to choose "Others" in the IR Menu. Owners of a Version 1 or Version 2 Tamagotchi Connexion should choose "Version 1" to connect with a JinSei owners.
If your Tamagotchi is currently in the 2nd Generation or higher, you can view and meet your "parents" -the previous characters in your toy- online. After obtaining a password from your Tamagotchi JinSei, go the "Parents" home and enter it online.
If you visit the Travel shop, you will find a link to Tama Island. Once you reach Tama Island you can vote for your favourite Tamagotchi. The Tamagotchi with the least amount of votes is booted off the island. Last remaining Tamagotchi wins! To support your favourite Tamagotchi, you can vote once every day.
As you Tamagotchi character grows up it will automatically go to pre-school an then school.
It is very important that you remember to logout of the JinSei website each time you play as all your activity is taking place on the website (getting Gotchi points, travelling, etc) and not in your Tamagotchi JinSei. If you did not get a logout code your Tamagotchi JinSei will return to the same condition before you last entered the website.
